Third Grade students will learn about the following areas:
Drawing-the process of making art with lines
Painting-applying color to a surface
Sculpture-art that fills up space
Printmaking-the process in which an original image is transferred from one prepared surface to another
Ceramics-objects made from clay
Mixed Media-projects that incorporate more than one kind of supply
Textiles-using man-made or natural fibers
Students will be exposed to art the elements and principles of design.
